There are many AA Conventions held around the world. One of the most common misconceptions about these gatherings is that they are regular AA meetings. Conventions and conferences are special events, which require a substantial amount of funding.

This Convention is self-supporting. No group monies are used to pay for this event. The costs of this convention are met through Convention Registrations and Events.

No baskets are passed. Attendance is voluntary, and as responsible AA members, 'We pay our own way.'

 

ALL event attendees MUST be registered with the Convention. Attendance at any event, banquet, dance, and sport activities REQUIRES REGISTRATION.
